About Dr. Lyons

Board-certified allergist and internal medicine physician, Vicki J. Lyons, MD, PC, has been named one of the top allergy and immunology specialists in the region by The Leading Physicians of the World publication. At Advanced Allergy & Asthma in Ogden, Utah, Dr. Lyons uses her expertise to help patients of all ages manage chronic allergies and asthma for the long-term. 

She previously served as the president of the Utah Chapter of the American Lung Association and the Utah Society of Allergy and Asthma. Dr. Lyons is certified by the American Board of Medical Specialties in allergy and immunology and a section leader at McKay Dee Hospital Department of Allergy and Immunology in Ogden, Utah.

In addition to her clinic work, Dr. Lyons has been a principal investigator for over 130 Federal Drug Administration (FDA) research studies involving a wide variety of illnesses and medications. She also is the author of numerous medical articles on asthma, drug allergies, and immunotherapy and the cofounder of What Doctors Know, an international digital publication.

Dr. Lyons earned her medical degree from Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. She went on to complete her residency in internal medicine at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Hanover, New Hampshire, and later finished her fellowship training in allergy and immunology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Throughout her academic career, Dr. Lyons received the prestigious Presidential Merit Scholarship and was selected for a National Institute of Health Study Research Fellowship.
